Credits and billing
One credit is 20 minutes of render time. What starts the meter, what stops it, and what happens when you run out.
Rendering is paid for with credits. 1 credit = 20 minutes of render time on an RTX 5090. There is no subscription, no minimum spend, and credits do not expire.
What is billed
The meter starts the moment Cycles or EEVEE actually begins rendering frames, and stops when the render ends. Everything around that is free:
| Phase | Billed |
|---|---|
| Uploading your files | Free |
| Waiting for a GPU machine, booting, image pull | Free |
| Downloading the scene, installing add-ons, remapping paths | Free |
| Blender rendering frames | Billed |
| Uploading finished frames, tearing the machine down | Free |
Blocks, not seconds
Render time is charged in whole 20 minute blocks, charged at the start of each block. A 4 minute render costs 1 credit. A 21 minute render costs 2. A 61 minute render costs 4.
Credit packs
| Pack | Price | Credits | Render time | Per render hour |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $9.99 | 10 | 3 h 20 min | ~$3.00 |
| Pro | $44.99 | 50 | 16 h 40 min | ~$2.70 |
| Studio | $149.99 | 200 | 66 h 40 min | ~$2.25 |
Buy from the credits page in the dashboard (click your credit balance in the top bar). Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your card. Current public prices are always on /pricing.
Running out mid-render
If your balance hits zero while a render is running, the machine is shut down at the end of the block you already paid for. Frames rendered up to that point are kept and stay downloadable. Top up and press Relaunch to continue.
Stopping a render
Destroy pod on the live view stops the machine immediately. Billing runs until the machine is actually destroyed, there is no free paused state. Credits reserved for a launch that never started are returned.
Early adopter bonus
Founding beta accounts get +10% credits on every pack at the same price (10 becomes 11, 50 becomes 55, 200 becomes 220). If your account has it, it is shown on the credits page and in the add-on. The bonus applies to purchases only, not to granted or beta credits.
