Blender add-on

Install the add-on

Download, install into Blender 4.0 or newer, and connect it to your account through the browser.

The add-on is free, has no pip dependencies, and runs on Blender's bundled Python. It works with Blender 4.0 and newer, including 5.x.

  1. 1
    DownloadGrab the zip from blender.farm/downloads.
  2. 2
InstallDrag the .zip straight into a Blender window. It installs and enables itself. (The long way round still works: Edit > Preferences > Add-ons > Install from Disk.)

  4. 4
Connect your accountClick Connect via browser. Your browser opens on an approval page; click Allow and the panel switches to your email and credit balance. No password is typed into or stored in Blender.
The session sticksYou stay connected across Blender restarts. Disconnect (the X next to your email) signs the add-on out. Connecting again is one click.

Updating

Install the new zip over the old one the same way and restart Blender. If a fix you expected does not appear, the copy Blender is running is probably an older one, see Add-on troubleshooting.

Why use it instead of the browser

  • It asks Blender what the scene references, so linked libraries, simulation caches and whole VDB sequences are found rather than guessed at.
  • It streams multi-GB files from disk, with no browser memory limits.
  • Your enabled add-ons are detected and can be shipped with the scene by ticking a box.
  • A custom OCIO config is picked up automatically.
